HVE's PTO is a non-profit organization that depends entirely on fundraising and donations to support the needs of Happy Valley Elementary. Despite limited ability to connect as a group due to the pandemic, the PTO was still able to help support students and teachers. In 2020 and 2021, the PTO relied heavily on financial reserves to fund school needs and activities simply because so many of our beloved events and activities were cut short or cancelled. But the 2021-22 school year was pivotal to getting back on track. PTO made it a priority to replenish reserves and help keep the group's mission possible.
Our school's PTO is only as strong as the participation we have from our students' parents, caregivers, teachers, and administrative staff. There is always opportunity to grow, develop, and find new ways to help our school community thrive. Between Jog-A-Thon, Bottle Drop, Read-A-Thon, Dine & Donate events, and the action packed Fun Run, there is so much to celebrate when it comes to ways our group can promote positive social experiences and learning.
